3/1/08 - On Saturday March 1, Coach Chris Martin of The New Jersey Bullets had his team geared up and running with full power when they defeated the Schuylkill Firedogs 123 to 98. Although the Firedogs never gave up, they couldn’t match the size or the speed of the Bullets.

Coach Martin’s Bullets controlled the tempo of the game from the start, with a well-executed offense that got seven Bullets in double figures and four players with double doubles.

Kelvin Fleming led all scores with 41pts, Anthony Bowens 19pts and 10 assists, Clayton Brown 16pts and 15 rebounds, Kirk Kerrin 15pts, Keith Wright 12pts and 16 rebounds, Tim Polk 10pts and 10 rebounds, and Ike Outten 10pts.

After only scoring 37 points in the first half, The Firedogs made a second half run with Anthony Moncrief scoring 22pts, Daron Dickerson 27pts and Demetrius Harris 19pts. Using smart play from the guards and controlling the backboards, the Bullets held on to their lead for the win 123 to 98.
