04/04/08 - Two first-year coaches in the EBA and WEBA respectively, have earned Coach of the Year Honors.

Fortney & Schell Named Coaches of the Year

Charlie Fortney of the Harrisburg Horizon won the EBA honor for coaching his team to the EBA league title with a record of 8-2.

Al Schell, head women’s coach of the Baltimore Starz, guided the WEBA’s newest team to a 7-1 first place finish.
