DutchmenAt Hooperstown in Mt Vernon Sunday evening, the Westchester Dutchmen took on the EBA powerhouse New York Wizards. Although the mounted a valiant effort, they fell short to the Wizards 115-90.

The Wizards and Dutchmen played a back and forth game midway through the 2nd quarter. Anthony Cox (17pts / 7rbs) and Brandon Lawley (12 pts / 11rbs) controlled the middle all throughout the game.

As the second half got under way, the Wizards depth started to take its toll on the Dutchmen led by Trinity Fields (21pts), Jason Romer (20pts).  The Dutchmen were paced by Jamal Webb (21pts / 6 assts) and Damian Hyman (19pts), who had four from 3-point range.

Next up for the Dutchmen will be Maryland Bayriders 4:30 at the House of Sports in Ardsley , NY.

Dutchmen will be glad to have 7’0 Joe Dorsette back and PG Aaron Williams, both of whom were away in New Zealand for the past 2 weeks.
